1500TC MOT'd and ready for my summer daily drive.

#1 Post by storeyn »

I decided earlier this year I was a bit bored with my everyday car... a good car for fitting everybody in, luggage and the dog but not very inspiring... so i started to look for something classic...

Around the corner from me a 1500TC came up for sale, it has had the interior changed to HL spec and has overdrive. it was being used occaisionally but under MOT exemption.

Any way after a viewing and a bit of eBay bidding (seller refused my offer on the day) I won the car at slightly less than I had offered... felt bad about this so paid the amount that I had offered.

After a bit of checking over it went for its MOT yesterday, after an initial failure on a top ball joint gaiter (don't know how I missed this), it passed with only a couple of minor advisories but I thought pretty good since its last MOT was in 2013...

So all ready to go now... as soon as lockdown is lifted and we are all safe again...

ignore the tape on the headlamps on my pic, that has now gone....
