There was an interesting article in MotorSport a couple of months ago. Qoute an Audi sport engineer-electric is a dead end.The future of the internal combustion engine is assured,the only question is what fuel it will be burning.
F1 is looking at fully synthetic fuel,using carbon capture technology,therefore its carbon neutral.
My own take on this is that the aviation industry is driving research into this fuel,which is already being manufactured,and tested.
You can be sure we wont be seeing no electric planes,I mean they wont even use unleaded!
