Dashboard cracked vinyl pad

#1 Post by JPSPRINT »

The Aussie sun has all but cooked and cracked mine(but spared the seats!). I'd like to have it reskinned, can someone point me to a vinyl sheeting source for these, thanks in advance!

Hi on ebay they sell a leather cover that fits over your original dash, there a bit dear when i bought one for the Stag i paid £ 99
ebay item 352427891811
you would still have to repair where the crack is,
if the vinyl has lifted your have to cut it back, you could use expanding foam to refill it

I dont know if you can get this stuff in Aus https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sugru-Origin ... eeb12c0daf But it works great on bumper strips, so should work on a dashboard. Not expensive, might be worth a go. :D

All great suggestions, much appreciated !

Does anyone know if the grain used in the Stag's dashpad is similar to ours. If I could get their vinyl sheeting I might in luck. My main concern was the local trimmer couldn't guarantee the original grain and I'm trying to keep the factory look there..
