quick question.
If i remove the overdrive sump plate, How much oil should I expect to find?
Want to check the filters. But can not find anything that says drain gearbox first.

As far as I know you will empty the whole gearbox if you take the plate off.

Drain the gearbox, they have a common supply. You will also need a special tool to take the high pressure filters out, it is a bit like the tool you use to change the discs on an angle grinder. Basically you need something with two prongs, at the correct spacing, to turn them. checking the overdrive, as I am getting the effect of clutch slip. Why are you checking the overdrive?
Doesn't do it all the time. usually on the 2nd to 3rd gear change. Not doing it consistently enough to fully diagnose.
Clutching at straws a bit.
