If you mean the nut on the taper, I doubt it's 7/16" I think the originals were 11/16" (across flats) but i've seen 5/8", 9/16" and even one 17mm nut on aftermarket balljoints! IIRC the thread is a 3/8" UNF but it might be 7/16" UNF.
