Early Sprint hazard warning switch part?

#1 Post by GrahamFountain »

Any body got a part number and or supplier of the early Sprint rectangular hazard switch or what it's the same as?

Graham
The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Factory 1977 TR7 Sprint FHC VVC 697S (Now all of, but still needs putting together)
B&Y 73 Dolomite Sprint UVB 274M (kids!)
1970 Maroon 13/60 Herald Convertable (wife's fun car).

I've found that this particular switch, if not used for a while, tends not to work! Even if it was OK when removed from the car! But it can sometimes be restored by the injection of some electrolube and a few minutes vigorous working.

Worth testing, if you can, before selling, especially the circuit across the 2 lowest pins that feeds the main flasher unit when the hazards are OFF, as this is the most common failure point.
