Dolomite Sprint

#1 Post by RoySne »

Hi all

I have been a Dolomite sprint member for six years now and this is my first attempt in the chat forum.
My sprint was first registered in 1976. Over the years it’s been fully restored and is now complete.
I have just had my wheels diamond cut and have now found that I am missing a 3/8 nut and sleeve.
Has anybody got a spare one or know where I could purchase one from.

Kind regards

Roy

Graham has some alloy 3/8 early Sprint wheel nuts: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Dolo ... Sw8o9eIKuz

If you only want one, that's probably not a silly price.

Not sure what you mean by sleeve. Do you have other than the original black duraluminium nuts?

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Welcome!

Let's see some pictures then please...

That is an exploitative price for a nut in my opinion. I have a spare I'll let you have for half that price, though unfortunately due to postage size and weight criteria it would be the same postage cost.
