Hello
I know on here somewhere is a wealth of information on how to drop a Tr7/1850 engine into a Toledo. I might be considering doing the same thing and would be keen to understand what is involved. I know this topic has been covered on here somewhere but I cant seem to find it.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?
many thanks

Re: Dropping a TR7/1850 into a Toledo
You need - subframe, gearbox, prop, rear crossmember, radiator, wiring loom etc from an 1850.
It's all a bolt in job but there's a lot to change.
If you are fitting a TR7 engine there's even more to it as virtually everything apart from the head and block is different and needs swopping for 1850 parts before it will fit into a Dolomite / Toledo shell. I wrote an article for the club mag a few months ago with full details.
