adjusting bootlid

I have fitted a NOS bootlid but it is aligned incorrectly. The issue is it sits too low at the back, with the chrome finisher not lining up and too high at the front near the rear window.

Is it possible to adjust how the boot sits and how is it done? Do you use washers/shims or is it just a case of mounting the hinges in a different place?

Hi
The height of the boot lid at the front edge near the window, is adjusted by moving the hinge where it attaches to the body. Two nuts on the right and three on the left.
The alignment at the rear edge is dependent on the condition and fit of the rubber seal and the adjustment of the
catch on the body. Slacken the three 1/4in hex screws and raise the catch. If it will not come high enough you may
need to remove the catch and slot the holes with a file.

Thanks for your replay, sounds easy enough but it also sounds like allot of trial and error involved.

It's a Dolomite! Trial and error is part of the build process!
