Rolling road
Rolling road
Any recommendations for a rolling road in the Heathrow area ? Looking for reasonable price but also someone who works on carbs and not only ECUs and fuel injection. Don't mind travelling a 30 mile radius for the right solution.

Re: Rolling road
I used this guy, very old school, his rolling road is a bit old but he got my car running well, years of experience but I don't have anything to compare it to.
Bit further than 30 miles from Heathrow

Drop Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road a message (or ring him).
Sure he would know someone.
Most of the old school boys I know have long gone.

I’ve used b d engineering in the past.
Old school, and good at what they do. A little bit over the 30 miles though…

Re: Rolling road
Personally I would avoid too much old school.
The old school way isn't up to date. Old school boys who sand carb needles are magicians according by some but it's a bodge.
Go to a proper modern rolling road who has enough needles and/or jets etc. in stock to do it the correct way.
My daily job is to correct messed up things done by old school man who are ignorant and do it the old school way wrong for over 40 years.
Inform, visit and ask and you know soon enough where to go and not to go.
