Re: Toeing eye
I did for trackdays. I welded a engine lifting eye to a front ARB bracket, painted yellow, job done. Adeqaute for towing off a track, wouldn't want to use it too far.new to this wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 7:31 pm Has any one fitted a toeing eye to there Dolomite ?

Re: Toeing eye
That looks fair enough, though, unless you intend to race it, i'm not sure why you'd need it.
The only thing that bothers me is that mount point is surely higher than the bottom of the spoiler. I had a similar problem when trying to work out where to put one on the Carledo (which I DO race, track and dragstrip) Haven't solved that yet, I don't trust the bumper mounts to be strong enough and all the subframe forward of the rack mount X-member is too high. Only other choice is a quick release spoiler!

Carried out towing eye mk2, Steve you were right my original bracket was to low, would have damaged the spoiler, this time ive mounted it under the front bumperCarledo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 9:39 pm That looks fair enough, though, unless you intend to race it, i'm not sure why you'd need it.
