Found this link to an interview with Phillip Lamour about his Sprint racecar. Phillip and his brother Mark ran Sprintparts in Sydney while both raced Sprints and manufactured and sold a lot of performance parts. They were also active on the forum until around 2014. Phillip's car was for sale a few years back but didn't sell. Interview seems to be quite recent. Well worth watching.

Hello All,
It has been a while since i was last on the forum under my old "SprintParts" login. I have been busy racing a Honda Integra DC2 Type R so the Sprint has been hibernating.
However The Sprint is now race track ready once again (thanks to COVID Lockdowns) and will be used for its first event since 2015 this coming weekend. Officially i have retired the Sprint from racing but intend using it for timed speed events (called Supersprints in Australia). The scarcity of body panels if it was involved in a racing accident forced the decision to retire it.
The car sold as reported in the previous post was a sister car to mine built locally in 1977. It has been through a few hands over the years. At $25k it was well under what i consider a Sprint with this history is worth- Escorts with similar providence change hands in Australia for more than A$75K.

Hi Philip, great to hear from you again. I'm glad the Sprint hasn't been completely retired and will be used in some form of competition.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years.
... Still Sprintless.
