Help! Spare Sprint cylinder head - ebay or other

#1 Post by olr159w »

I may need a new cylinder head. See other thread - no a certainty but looking likely

Does anyone have one?

There are a few on ebay - does anyone know of them, their source, history etc?

Thanks

Former (acting) Chairman...he recently retired; AKA James 467

I shudder to imagine freight costs to Australia; I sent one to Portugal from the UK recently and that cost enough! They are 20.5 Kg without packaging, which needs to be substantial and robust as someone between here and there is likely to drop it!!

I shudder too but the options are limited.

Except that I'm due in the UK in a month. I have a 35kg luggage allowance. Excess baggage is USD25 per kilo. So assuming my stuff weighs in around 20kg, or lets say 25kg then I'll need an extra 10kg on top of the spare allowance I already have. Which is about AUD360.

Which is actually crap. I bet I could get it shipped for a lot less than that.

But if not that's the option /sigh

I need to be in touch with James. What is his userID here?

James 467

Is there a weight limit on hand luggage? It probably complies with the size limits 😉

I can't find that username?

I'm thinking one of those 2 wheel Rip Curl style rolling luggage bags and then have it containing only the head :-)
