New badge availability

#1 Post by xvivalve »

Be aware that COH Baines have commenced remanufacture of all badges, not only Dolomite, but seemingly anything that was once made by J Fray.

As with their accelerator rubbers, they have supplied various outlets with stocks of these, but you can buy single items from Baines direct through their website...so don't get carried away with any ebay listings which you might assume are new old stock; check first as they are likely to be reproduction

Not seen any in the flesh yet, but from the photos it looks as if the font is not quite right, which is ashame to go to all that trouble to get them remade but not to get them bang on. 😉

The boot badge has 2 different fonts, the early one is probably best described as italic and the later one is vertical. The Baines one is the later style (but with the earlier colour?) From the facebook page comments on this, I think they probably already know!

No, when Tony says the font isn't quite right, I think he means like this one "isn't quite right"
