Hi All
In November I will be using my 1975 1500TC to commute the 5 miles to work for a few weeks. I have decided to get the lights improved and upgrade the alternator.
Just a sense check, is it a 18ACR as below I use, it ok if its physically bigger as I have already moved the battery to the boot.

For the lights, before I make up my own loom and add relays, anyone know of a kit other than Rimmers or Jerom (he never get back to me)?
Also, I know the dash voltmeter is probably not the best, but with my fan blower and lights on it sits under 12v, is that ok?
Thanks again.
Barry

you need over 12 volts or the battery won't get a full charge but don't rust the incar meter use a meter across the battery terminals and with the neg wire on engine block and body just to be sure.
for the wiring loom you can buy the wirex relay, connectors etc for 12volt planet or autoelctricalsupplies,
that alternator should be fine to use
