Simple question, how do rubber front under riders fit, do they have a back plate that bolts to the shell,

On the back off the rubbers there's two metal tongues that go through the under rider and bend over holding them in place

Just happen to have mine off the car. Be careful bending them back, the rubber could split. You dont need to bend them all the way straight to remove the rubber.

There was an all black under rider which I believe was an accessory for the Toledo range. I'm not sure if they were all rubber, all plastic or what, i've not seen any for many years. But i'm fairly sure they bolted up under the bumper as the chrome ones do on Dolomites.
