Source of decent pinstripes

#1 Post by cliftyhanger »

I have searched teh forum, and the interweb, for a source of decent quality pinstripes. I gfailed, so bought some off fleabay.
As expected the quality is not great, despite careful degreasing, making sure the surface was warm etc the stripes do not want to stick more than a few days.

All I want is some gold twin pinstripe, I really didn't think it would be this difficult.

So has anybody found a source??

The club produce a very good replica of the Sprint pinstripes in both standard colours of Black and Silver and also in Gold (which does seem to suit Magenta in particular) I've fitted at least 3 sets in the last year or so, all to cars which were freshly painted, so had no wax on them. But, under those circumstances, I had no trouble at all with them coming unstuck!
