Quarter lite rubbers

Hi how easy is it to Change my quarter lite rubbers on my triumph 1500 fwd please

It would be fairly straight forward, but time consuming as basically you need to strip the doors down and then reassemble. The second door will be quicker than the first.

You'll need to locate a new rivet for the front quarterlight hinge; Robin Eames tells me has sourced an appropriate pin, but hasn't yet told me from where.

You'll find the rear seals are a very tight friction fit and difficult to remove; one tip is to wear rubber gloves to aid friction between your palms and the glass whilst clamping the glass between your palms and pushing it out.
