1975 1850 auto 39,000 miles from new

#1 Post by rpgrainger »

I have owned this car for 20 years this year but in 2017 I had a little prang and it's sat in a garage for the last 6 years...the time has come to get this car back on the road

Might need a bit of t-cut on that front wing! ;-) Good luck getting it back on the road.

Have you managed to source all of the panels?

Also, is the back axle out of alignment?

Just curious, as the panels must have been difficult to source.

Must be the angle that the photo was taken. The back wheel doesn't look quite right in the wheel arch.

Yes it has been in the garage for 6 years though...but I have 4 good wings..bonnet...bumper...front panel...inner front panel...headlight panels that I can't find at the moment...yes I think it's possibly the angle for the rear wheel

I read somewhere that the headlamp panel for the Capri can be made to work (with modifications) so might be an avenue for you to explore.

You'll also need the eyebrow panels, very difficult to find in steel but I believe the club does do GRP ones.
