I was wandering if anyone has managed to adopt a better/improved solution for the door handle mechanism and the poor clip system that is housed within the door itself. I have an issue where front doors won’t open from the outside due to the metal link assembly slipping out from the clip… Have tried many clips, both new and old all of which seem fine to start with and then at some point the metal slips out of the link assembly when the outer handle is pressed. As it is a really fiddly job, its quite a pain to keep taking the door panel off and trying to pop it back in, so was wandering if anyone had managed to come up with a more permanent fix or even any ideas of how i could fix this for the better....
Any pointers or help would be appreciated…
