This is just a question about something I've often wondered about.
Why do companies like Robsport, Wins, Rimmers etc. refer to Sprint rockers as "Inlet" & "Exhaust" on their websites? Obviously Sprint rockers operate the exhausts. I know it's a way of distinguishing between the mirror images of the arms but it doesn't make sense.
Edit. Reread what I'd written & corrected.

Re: Sprint Rocker Arms
Can't answer that one but be aware, a friend with a local garage who repairs Classics had 2 'new' rocker arms break on an engine (not a Dolly but aftermarket makers are limited) he had overhauled whilst on a test drive. When I looked at them on the underside you could just see the small crack (from the poor casting process) that had led to the complete failure so before fitting any 'new' ones make sure you thoroughly inspect them

Re: Sprint Rocker Arms
They actually mean front and rear arms, which are sided. These are all exhaust valve rocker arms, as the inlet valves are driven directly through buckets.
I've been slagging gRimmers off for this for years.

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.
