Just ordered a seat base foam kit for drivers side. Bit expensive compared to the backrest foams, but I want to support the companies that support us. It is good that they have stepped in to make these at last.

I was having a search on ebay this morning and came across a number of Dolomite parts from Newton Commercial.
Seat squabs, door cards etc.
I don't know how long they've been producing these but it is encouraging to see these. Door cards in particular always seem to be in demand.

Bit of a swings and roundabouts situation I feel, whilst its great that they are investing in our cars it would have been nice if they'd first consulted the club and asked what was currently unobtainable. That would've avoided them expending effort and no doubt financial outlay on an item already available

Hopefully club members will realise that where the club carries an item buying it there puts money back in to invest in other developments and not making a profit for a private company.

To be fair I believe they did consult via a Cornish member, and they did buy a set of poor quality seats from me to make sure they had the right measurements...only they never arranged to collect them!

They have been advertising the front seats for a while but were being specific that they were only for the Sprint model so would of been missed out of a lot of searches for "Triumph Dolomite seats".

Sadly I think they've missed the boat.

I wish them success in introducing what they have.
