Just got back back. 450 mile round trip. Mrs Marshman drove the Sprint and I drove my Warwick GT. Great weekend. Think there were 5 Dolomites on the club stand on Saturday and a couple of others parked elsewhere..(white sprint BLM.... And an Inca ? Yellow Sprint on the Rliey stand. Had a nice chat with Matt Cotton on Saturday and a couple of others, forgive me but I am terrible with names!

Had to stop on the way back as my wife flagged me down just after we got onto the M25. Managed to pull over in the conveniently placed cones by J10. We had been in slow moving traffic and she said the oil light had come on. I checked the oil level which was OK, temp ok, no knocking so assumed duff sender, so said lets carry on and only stop if the temp rises or you hear loud knocking. Well nearly 100 miles later we we arrived home, oil light shining brightly but no other symptoms. So will check oil pressure tomorrow and if ok fit a new pressure switch.

Will post pics later

Good to catch up on Saturday and glad you got home ok!
I really enjoyed my time at the show on Saturday - very relaxed and friendly show I thought. I don't know how many Dolomites attended on Sunday, but nice to see the picture of Pete and his car in the arena.

Fingers crossed the oil light is just the result of a dodgy switch.

Best wishes

Sadly on the Sunday it was very quiet. Only mine and Peters car on the stand, and I had to take mine away early as I needed to pack our camping gear away. Peters car got a reasonable mention in the display arena though.

Haven't plucked up courage to look at my car yet :D

Thanks to everyone who came to the weekend, I had a good time, met a lot of people, some old friends and some new. Great atmosphere especially Saturday, Sunday a bit quieter but still good. We managed 6 cars on the stand for Saturday and a few others at the show. If anyone wants a flavour of the weekend 'Range Roving Around' by Geoff Buys Cars on You Tube has a drive round some of the show. has a quick flash of my Jeep and drive past the Club stand - followed up by part 2 a walk round some of the rest (better with the sound down!).

It really is a good show. We camped Friday and Saturday nights. I was mainly there with the Peerless and Warwick Owners Register, I persuaded my wife to follow me up in the Sprint as I was driving the Warwick and feel a bit vulnerable on the motorways (low slung car, fibreglass body, no seat belts and petrol tanks tucked in both sills  ). At one point I think we were up to 8 cars on the Peerless and Warwick stand, around 50% of the ones that are currently on the road. We tend to treat it as our annual meet up hence the effort to make the 450 mile round trip. Friday night entertainment was a Rolling Stones tribute band who were quite good, plus bar with decent ale. Also pretty good autojumble as well as trade stands.

Thanks for putting up the TDC stand. Was nice to meet and have a chat with some fellow Dolomite owners.
