Front Parcel Shelf

#1 Post by veeeight »

It's amazing what you can do, having not done it before, with a bit of thought and taking your time.
I have managed to restore my front parcel shelf for not a lot of money. Reinforced the weak bits and
then recovered it in a self adhesive vinyl sheet.

NIce job, well done.
Issue with mine is not the parcel shelf so much but chunks out of the padded bit that goes round the front!

My padded front bar was also in bits, so I was going to have it recovered or buy the foam and do it myself.
Luckily, I found somebody who had a spare one that had been recovered and was as new.

Easy to take off the parcel shelf and have it done or do it yourself.

Cheers

Ive recovered mine both the padded rail and the parcel shelf, the foam on my padded rail was falling to bits so i used 20mm pipe lagging , its got the right curve to it, then covered it in leather
