Rear seat belts.

#1 Post by knightrider150 »

How easy is it to fit rear seat belts in a sprint ?

Also has anyone done it by taking seat belts from another car to fit to the dolomite?

only Robbers do a kit but theres gotta be a cheaper way :)

mine came from the triumph sports six club I think, but they are only lap belts - you can get these at a scrappy no problem. I had three points in my white 1850 that I got from purple barge ken, so maybe ken or nick c can tell you what they are?

They are made by Securon. If you go onto their website it will tell you which model you need. Then go to your motor factors and order them.

Belts

Scott is correct - the rear belts are made by Securon. These are the ones that Rimmers sell too.

All the captive nuts are already in the body shell under the rear seat base (base just lifts out) and beneath the rear parcel shelf (poke up from inside boot with sharp awl or similar).

Shop around. At the time I bought my Securons I saved a significant sum on the Rimmers price by buying online from Europa Spares. They fit easily and work perfectly.

Seatbelts

The Securon belts as stated are very easy to fit. If you want to fit a child seat in the back I had to change the buckle for an adjustable one out of the Securon lap belt kit. This is because the one supplied is too long for modern child seats.
