Bloody hell Jon, we are not worthy, make way for the "Sierra brake conversion" man himself. I didn't think you had it in you. Only joking, welcome back Jon
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years. ... Still Sprintless.

Well hello to you James, long time no see, I believe the last was about 7 years ago at Plympton, glad to hear from you and that your enthusiasm is still alive, as you now know we moved back to Hampshire three and a half years ago.
So Goodwood is our local track (but only used it twice as its got rather expensive).
Hope life is treating you well.
I was out in my garage working last year when a request from Andy Moss for his wife was played on radio 2.
Good people down there in the West, we had some good runs, and pub lunches.
Jahn, last time we me was at your house that was up Torquay/Dawlish way to collect 2 sets of sierra conversions. They are still going strong and pulling me up safely.
Glad Good wood is close, it was about £100 quid last time I was there
James

A local car club I am with has hired the track for a day in febuary and with 30 of us we are paying £200 each although that includes ferry from the IOW which is about £40. This is the £10 less than we paid earlier this the month with only 25 people due to their 2008 price increases.
Ah I remember now James you gave me the lowdown on lead filling instead of Plastic padding, glad to hear those brakes are still doing the bizz.
I now have a nice double garage and a little workshop to play in now, instead of that tiny little wet garage in Totnes.
Financially its easier since we sent the children up the chimnys
That does not seem too bad Neil.
I've got a 3 nearly 4 year old girl now, so I've gained the expenses.
I still do lead loading and it outlasts most of the other repairs I've done too. Glad to hear you've got a good workshop. I still run the wedding cars for a living, have a look at http://www.sbcars.co.uk probably not changed much over the years apart from a roof chop on one of them

Well James you certainly have prospered in Cornwall, congratulations on you little girl and the success of your business.
I am very pleased for you.
Hope to meet again one day.
John, I earn a living from the cars, they just look flash but the are a non deprciable assets and a tool of my trade. I've downsized from 4 years ago when I had 9 cars on the fleet. These are the good booking ones.
