Sorry to have to say this but I won't be attending this year due to overwhelming domestic pressures. Those who know me will get my drift

I have asked Colin if he would be willing to help out re: the possibility of collecting, ferrying of bits and pieces but obviously I wouldn't expect anyone to go out of their way or to inconvenience themselves on my behalf.

Many apologies :( and I hope that you all have a great time as per usual :D

Tony, that bacon buttie will get to you mate :D

Quick question - what's the opening time? Am assuming it's 9 but the Stoneleigh website helpfully has nothing listed.

Just so's you know, Club Stand (70's Traiumph Main Dealer) won 2nd place in competition.
Congrates to Nathan and co for hard work organising signs etc, and for the fine vehicles on both the main, and sub-display stands.

Nice One!! =D>

Excellent!!
A lot of hard work went into the stand from what I could see. The characters that were on it were quite clearly 'on something' :sozzled: :spliff: :eyes4u: :snooze:

Who got 1st place though?

Colin,
In answer to your question, it was the Triumph 2000/2500 register with their "Kerbside motors" stand next door.

All good fun, especially when I offered them the stock we couldn't shift from our main agents!!

Really good day, really enjoyed and was proud to be part of the TDC today....The signs worked well and so did the "forsale" signs in the front screens, worried they would look tacky but they worked very well!!

Glad to meet new people today.......and i hope everybody got home safe!!!

That photo of us that Andy has posted has got to be a front page in dolly mixture

Good day....and 2nd prize of £150 for the club!!!

Well done guys!!

Well done everyone. Looks like a great day was had by all. Nath, you're looking a bit 'Sam Tyler' there mate  Hope you managed to shift that dodgy 1300FWD, bit overpriced methinks :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Can't wait to see more piccies.

What did I do today? I washed the top of my Land Rover using a broom and some step ladders and jetwashed about 500lb of mud from the underneath:roll: Looks a lot nicer but not quite how I'd planned to spend the day

Well done on 2nd prize :D :D :D :D :D :D

I would just like to add my congratulations for a really excellent stand. Well done everyone. Mike Goldstraws suit was truly something to behold. When he said that he wanted to change into something else, I didn't blame him at all. I was outside in the autojumble with all the other filthy capitalists and had a fantastic day chatting to so many fellow enthusiasts (and converted some unwanted spares into a bit of pocket money too !). Cracking day all round.

2nd year running I've thrown my lot in with some mates from Club Triumph/TSSC/Big saloon register. Spreading the cost among a few means you can get a really useful sized stand for not a lot each. I'm definitely up for it if you want to sort something out for next year.
