Ahh! my first SODIT (the Beaulieu photos). In the last photo, see the port-a-cabin at the top, I was parked just in front of it.

I was at Gaydon as well. There were about 13 of us from the Bristol & Avon area went up in convoy. We all had stickers on our windscreens. Me & Mary were in her Ice Blue Sprint. Not got many photos of that car.

Sodit

It was my first SODIT, travelled up from cornwall in a blue sprint PRW387W, joined in with Cornwall & Devon group and won best area display.
I remember lots of those cars, just forgotten the owners names.

You may well ask Mark.

WHV172M turns out to be an 1850 not taxed since 1998.

The silver car was made from a brand new shell, it came from the Oxford area (perhaps Malc will remember more) and I believe that the shell was found inside the Canley works prior to demolition.

The Sprint with the Silver arrow on the front belongs to Keith Rudrum a very active member during the 90's and took over the role of Toledo Registrar after I gave up the role. He was known as "Mister Sprinty Pants" due to his modeling Y Fronts with 'Sprint' written on the waist band.

Some memories were better than others!

Keith Rudrum

Keith was a very active member back in the early nineties. I really wonder how I managed not to meet him given how often his name appears in the dolly mixtures of the day. He was orgaising just about everything for the TDC at my end of the country. He plays with Soobies these days but still has time for strange attire.
