Does anyone know where the best place to get these from would be.
Cheers Neil
sils
The best place is from club stock. However if theses are a bit tricky try these people, ask about a stockist close to you.

sills
It is a full sill minus the bit behind the front wing, but that is faily easy to fabricate up. I managed to chop one up and repair both sides, it welded lovely, I cannot see the point in repairing good steel, I still managed to repair bad bits of the inner sill too.
a few folk have been over this in the past. you can get hold of OE sills that include that front section behind the wing, but they're more rare than chicken lips and to fit them you need to take the wings off. what a ball ache. however if the rot's set in you'd probably be well advised to take the wings off anyway, and be pre-warned, the chances are you'll uncover other patches that need repairing.
not too difficult to make repair pieces for the sections behind the bottoms of the wings, then make sure you paint them with something that will keep the water away from the metal - chassis paint, rust prevention paint (por15), or even hammerite will do. then fit the club sills.
club sills are cheaper than OE and made from better quality material that will resist rot far better than mild steel.
do it once, properly, and forget about it for years, thats by far the best approach.
