hazard lights

We are trying to get our dolly back on the road but, our hazard lights dont work dose any one know how to fix them? if you do can you tell us how please!

Almost certainly a bad earth - very likely on one of the front indicators. Also worth changing the flasher unit. I've found in the past that just because the indicators are working doesn't mean the hazards will and vice versa.

I have found that because they are not used very often the pull out switch contacts get dirty.

My experience has been if I operate the switch a number of times this will do the trick. It would also help if you are able to spray some WD40 into the switch to clean the contacts.

If its the later style; flashing red knob, you may find the copper spring contacts behind have fatigued and broken and a new switch is required. Quite common...
