Re: Track day cars
I'll be interested in seeing which part of the chassis' of the scimitar Adam chooses to weld the tobar into!

Re: Track day cars
Who said anything about a towbar? Just tie a rope round the chassis, it'll be fine.

Re: Track day cars
Just thinking out loud.

Re: Track day cars
id get it insured too, but then i always get it cheap
so you sure you dont wanna get it insured adam? would prolly be the best way

Re: Track day cars
As far as track day insurance goes its a waist of time for Adam as the excess will probably be than the car isworth anyway. You could allways insure it on a layed up policy to cover theft, accidental damage etc, last time I had this it was £30 and your age shouldn't be a consideration for this type of policy.

Ahwell this plan is out the window now... The running gear I was going to use is no longer available to me for various reasons. I guess I'll just fix the car and sell it as a standard 1850
Re: Track day cars
Don't you still have a V8 engine on a sprint subframe ready to drop in? that would make a nice trackday car, probably better than a road one with the ground clearance issue...2F45T4U wrote:Ahwell this plan is out the window now...
