Gutted, they don't take dogs, so Mrs 6214 will be staying at home to look after the beasts :(

Shame....means I won't be stayin as long...I was looking forward to not having to drive back!

I might even bring a land rover, how wrong would that be?

Really nice to see you guys earlier - I hope you will forgive me "gatecrashing".

What a lovely venue! Real log fire, very child friendly and really good grub - it was just what I needed after my four hour journey down.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but I had to get my kids home. As predicted, they snuggled up in the back of the 1300FWD, watched half a DVD, and then slept the rest of the way. We got back about 11.15 tonight, which was good going.

For those who doubt the small ohv engine, tonight my wonderful 1300FWD went from Bromley to Salisbury, from Salisbury across the New Forest to Cadnam; and then from Cadnam back to Bromley, all in perfect comfort. I covered 242 miles, cruised at 70-75 when the traffic permitted, and averaged 40.9 mpg. Yes, I could have gone in a modern diesel econobox and done over 50mpg at those sort of speeds. But would it have been fun? Never.

Lovin' this car. :D

Great to see you all again. Roll on next time.
Martin.

Christmas do ? Please keep me posted :)

Up here in the frozen north of the county we (local TDC, CT, TSSC members) are planning a Saturday afternoon early in January (looking at the 3rd or 10th) at the 10-pin bowling place just along from Milestones in Basingstoke. All welcome (still no dogs though, David), let me know if you're interested. I'm probably going to have to get something booked in the next few weeks.
