Only once...

#32 Post by Jon Tilson »

have I rammed somebody....dozy old got in a deawoo...who overtook me as the road was narrowing, leaving me nowhere to go as we all pulled off from some lights.
As I was in the 110 Landy at the time I took advantage of the situation as it was the safest thing to do, meaning only he got dented and I didnt get shunted up the rear as I would have done had I braked hard.
I suspect had I been in a dolly I'd have been farther up the road and he wouldnt have tried it...
Had I been, think I wouldnt have rammed him.
Good though...the Landy took out all the nearside panels with no damage to self...love it....Ha...

i have a m8 who rammed somebody. he has a camper. some egit yoofs were chucking water bombs at school kids from a 'pimped' pug 106, 1 hit his split screen bus as he was coming the other way, and broke the window !?! he tried to chase them but lost them (obviously) so went home, got his SWB landrover with winch, big-foot style wheels etc etc, found the pug and completely demolished the back end of it.

he ended up in crown court, pleaded poverty/hardship/provocation etc etc and got off with a fine, points, suspended 2 yr sentence and good boy bond.

adam - i dont think this sort of thing would do your career prospects much good, he's a bit of a wheeler dealer, geeza type, no 'job', no 'address' etc, but he's not a gangster or hooligan, and neither are you. you're a good lad, so stop being a w@nker.

Jod is totally right...
Best to walk (drive) away and enjoy the ride...

My point was, when I had to, it was nice to be in something hard enough.

wasnt meant to sound as harsh as it did, sorry if i offended, but just trying to remind you that you're one of the good guys, and considering following through on what most of us feel like doing on a daily basis could end up costing you more than having to fix your car.

my 'dumping screenwash over tailgaters' approach works nicely when the circumstances are right, its just downright irritating when the car in front sprays you, and while it could easily be taken as blatantly trying to p1ss someone off, can also easily be passed off as genuinely trying to clear my dirty screen... just have to remember to keep topped up!

when orange eventually hits the streets, i reckon also strategically angling the spots towards the average rearview mirror at 20-30metres will be a nice touch. seems to be a nice beam pattern from the old ring sportline plus!

yoghurt is good stuff to get on a screen, just kind of smears everywhere. someone did that to me once!

also have to remember that the guy you're trying to annoy may be tooled up in one way or another, or someone who featured on britains toughest pubs!
