With the badge, I do have the original one, but it's really quite tired. Good idea on the insert, there should be one on its way to me now

Not exactly under ideal circumstances, but I think I've got pretty much everything ticked off the listbifold wrote:Looks like your wish list of plans for car you told me last summer has come true![]()
I'm going to take the head off to see what the damage is, but I'm guessing the piston is going to be knackeredMikeyB wrote:Looks the dogs howard despite the valve; what are you doing about the head / valve issue?

It was manufactured on 21st June 1978 and despatched to Heron Rossleigh in Edinburgh on 26th June 1978.
So it is much earlier than I thought! It was registered on 19th Jan 1979, so must have hung around for 6/7 months. Seems quite a long time...
Optional Extras were:
Headrests, Overdrive, Dunlop Tyres, Tinted Laminated Windscreen.
By 'tinted windscreen', does that mean a tinted top area, or just another word for Sundym?
Also turns out the boot/glovebox are still the original keys! Can't tell for the others as they don't have a number.
Useless but interesting information
