 Maybe you should consider putting those harness points higher? There's a very good reason they're not found fitted at floor level and that is that they'd crush your spine if you were retrained by them in the event of a shunt. Maybe a bar between the rear wheel arch tubs would be high enough when combined with the distance they'd be from the seats? Either way, please don't risk severe injury by leaving them anchored there eh?

I was just about to say the same thing! Shoulder straps should be mounted as close to horizontal as possible, and an absolute maximum of 45 degrees to the horizontal. The standard rear seatbelt mountings are within the maximum allowable...

FIA Drawing 253-42 on page 32 of this PDF from the MSA rulebook might help

Hmmm, I dont see this working.

The rear end of a dolomite is not that sutible for drifting - too much float and the diff is too.

Massive axle tramp and weak lock is what i forsee here

sorry. :(

COOOL! :D

Never entirely followed drifting, but a mate's got a Datsun 280ZX (i think) which he drifts about in :)

My car's louder than his, and my rear end's easier to kick out, but his is still rather nice :)
