It looks a better fit than my XE transplant, especially the intake side of things

Don't know about all the other things like fuel supply, header tank set up etc etc. But thats the fun of doing it...

Header tank - wont it be too low to be used as a "header" tank. It will be lower than the highest point on the engine? How will the system bleed? Just a thought.knightrider150 wrote:Fuel supply - Lift lump ( facet) - Then a Jaguar XJS High Pressure pumpA swirl pot and then a return to the tank.
Battery should fit in the bay fine- They are a small lump 1.8 Turbo
No need for a header tank- its built into the nissan rad
Misses the BMC Fine.
Sump needs to be shorter by 1cm !!!!
It will be around 210bhp @6000rpm and max tourqe 190lbft at 4500 RPM
Steeting coupling is right out the way no issues there.
Management ( standard nissan) pig stupid. Loads of sensors but it all goes into the ECU and the ECU itself just needs live and ground and switched live.
The only tight spot is the turbo elbow. Gonna go with a V- Band coupling ( comes off the turbo and then down into a 90 degree bend and it should clear with some jigging about - handbrake has had to move back about 2cm otherwise it gets in the way of the prop coupling.
The engine is iron block with ally head ( ring any bells ?)
Pressurised IIRC - It just worksiandollysprint wrote:Header tank - wont it be too low to be used as a "header" tank. It will be lower than the highest point on the engine? How will the system bleed? Everything else sounds cool.

Very likely I would think. I believe competent, reliable and talented people like Dan should be promoted at every opportunity, his art is a dying art.knightrider150 wrote:DoloWIGHTY wrote:knightrider150 wrote:

Never know someone on the club might take him up on a 2nd project.
