Right then, at home, knackered, but relieved that the day has gone well.
Can I thank, in no particular order, Nathan B, Mike, M, Steve B aka Carledo, Barry E, Raj, Mark 1 and Mark 2 (Maclean) for providing the entertaining array of cars that we had on display today, and in addition thanks to Colin H, Danny, Jannete and George, Andy P plus Kev Murray for help on the stand, and in the run up to the show.
Despite being in the (un)heated hall with the (Low) levels of lighting, I feel that we arranged a Club display to be proud of, especially as we sneaked in one more car than the organisers were expecting!
It is a pity that we were a little bit on our own compared to the majority of other clubs, but we had a good time, including joining in with a sound off with a Herald, a supercharged small block V8 Herald that is!
I'm hoping some pictures will appear here later.
Thanks to everyone for the assistance, and I hope the 1500TC gets better soon!
Now to get KAC ready for STAR 90!

I was on my tod today so didn't get opportunity to wander over, so look forward to seeing some pics.
I saw a few folk, but many 'regulars' seemed to be missing; are the organisers over pricing entry? The show certainly seemed smaller than usual and most folk had gone by 2.45pm.
I saw AP and suggested our remote location might be a reaction to having scored a monkey out of the organisers after the Restoration Show, or maybe the just appreciate how ambitious the TDC are and decided to give us space!?
Having cajoled the fabricator into getting three GRP transmission tunnels ready for today (not to mention having met the mould costs and 3 x fabrication costs!) they disappointingly attracted very little attention...particularly from those who'd expressed interest!

I am glad that the day went well and my thanks to all involved in the Club stand before and during the show.
My very slim chance of attendance evaporated as soon as the flight I was returning from Geneva on took off over 90 minutes late. It is the first Stoneleigh I have missed for several years, but having landed at Gatwick at 1630, I would have made it just in time to turn round and go straight to the office on Monday!
Once again huge thanks on behalf on the Club and Committee to all who participated.
