So what work of art did I undertake as my first job? Cill? Wing? Is it as was described of the Lorch - about as hard as squeezing toothpaste? Hard to say having only used about 2 feet of wire extracting a sheared bolt from a GT6 fuel tank mounting.
Julian, were you inspired by the latest instalment of Project Binky:

Checked, it is the 32A flavour. Good to question where safety is concerned.
£658 + vat just for the welder. Came out just over a grand by the time I'd added mask, wire & gas. Well on the way to Lorch money in the end but R-tech are 25 mins away rather than Germany.

Are you using Hobbygas or renting? Nearest stockist is in Monmouth if you're interested.

No, a couple of friends visited the weekend the Tour of Britain started one of whome used to be a machine shop engineer. I asked his advice as the lip you can see here prevented me drilling it out

Even the dentist drill attachment on a dremel is too fat to alight along the axis of the bolt. I did smile when I saw the same trick in the binky vid.

I got an
Argon5 10L/2000L bottle. Outright purchase on the bottle so only gas cost at refill time.
