How does it work Dave? Do you pull / twist the release knob? Ive not dared touch mine, but I'm happy with the driving position so will prob just leave well alone!!

Undo the black knob a bit, and you can move the column up and down and in and out. Then tighten it up.

The knob screws on to the thread of the bolt. Just unscrew it to loosen it for adjustment and tighten once it is in the desired position. These cars were well equipped in their day.
