I just read the whole of that sideways tech thread........Fascinating and almost impenetrably dense at times.......and littered with finicky arguments over theory, so it's not just us!
But what it did show, was that doing it yourself is labour and equipment intensive and involves much calculation and compromising on imponderables. Sticking to the tried and tested TR7 bits and just adding electronic control seems the simplest way round to me. I am a huge fan of the KISS principal!
