What about the Cal / rat look??? Like the vdub boys do with bay and splitties. Hardly any paint and surface rust. And slammed to the ground with back wheels at 45degrees?! 
Seriously if anyone does this to a Dolomite they should be hung up by their fingernails.
Although.... Can Dolomites be slammed ie run with no suspension at all? I bet someone has tried!

The live axle prevents any sort of rear camber and lowering the front more than an inch or so will have you ripping the sump off on the first sleeping policeman - so Dolomites are relatively immune from this sort of thing, fortunately!
As to the rat look, the jury is out on that one, it's OK in dry American states where the idea originated and cars left out in the sun for years had the paint burnt off them and acquired a patina of interesting surface rust. In the UK this doesn't happen and cars that are left out in the rain look like Alun's latest purchase - and soon after that you can collect them with a dustpan and brush instead of a trailer!

You can lower them a lot but the subframe will grind the tarmac. My Toledo is on 175/60/13s and with 2 people it brushes the bigger catseyes!

My sump plug is 1" below the bottom of the subframe, even with 185/55/15s and very hard shox it's still a bit scuffed!
