I too would like a set of JE pistons. I tried a little while ago to contact JE in the States via email and got no reply.
If you make contact could you let us know?
Thanks

Quick update, Omega got back to me. Basically minimum order of 12 pistons @£150 each including vat. That means at £600 per set I wont bother. The engines dont make enough power to warrant it in my opinion unless you were detonating a lot and forged are a little more forgiving.
I am currently working on a set of hypereutectic VW air cooled pistons that need some modification to fit but they cost less than £190 for a set of 4

This wont be a quick thing but I'll do a write up when I get it going. I am putting together another short block to use after I get fuel injection sorted on existing engine

It's the 12 off that causes the problem. £600 for a set of forged pistons is actually very good. It's well over £600 now for a set of County or JP Cast ones from the usual suppliers.

Its very big money for pistons in my opinion and an alternative may be on the cards for a fair bit less and from a source that will never dry up as its a VW thing
