Must admit that I don't replace anywhere near that often, and don't think I ever have. I think I'm having to adjust at about that interval, maybe a bit larger. I probably run the mk 1 eyeball over the gap more often, though.

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.
