I'm having to replace the head gasket, and doing the studs and bolts as well. And, as it's not too big a job to do the tensioner at the same time, I reckon I'll get one of these Jag ones again - I got one from a Jag main dealer back in the 90s, but didn't think it was a different part, just a different supply chain (NPI).
Anyway, what's the consensus on replacing the chain at 50k as well, and where's a good source?

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.
