Hello all,

Had my Dolly for about 9 years now, been a member in the past but the car never really made it on the road. At last i have bitten the bullet and with help from a work colleague going to bring her back from the dead. I will be purchasing some suspension, poly bushes, exhust etc trying to keep her as standard as possible for now just with a few nice bits.

What is the general way to go is it the Rimmer bros route ?

Does anyone have some bits that i will be interested in ? Also will need a pair of panels behind the front lights. The car is a genuine 62000k in carmine red the previous owner having it for 18 years.

Regards

I have lots of bits; whether or not you'd be interested remains to be seen!

Dou you mean the headlamp mounting panels or the inner front panel to which they attach?

Hello
Thanks for the reply, The panel i think is called the front inner valance panel. The centre bit is fine i really only need to repair around the lights. Not sure if you can buy a repair panel for that area ?
What sort of parts do you have?
Engine tuning bits would also be on the list for future requirements.

Regards
Andy

welcome.

xvi is your man for a multitude of repair panels, they're very good and fairly priced, ive used a few.

join the club, and the 'circle of good blokes' will undoubtedly assist on any obscure bits you're after.

rimmers are a good supplier, not the cheapest and sometimes seem slow to get stock of certain things, but they do generally keep most consumable bits, fixings, repro panels, OE stock etc and i use them a fair bit.

other suppliers to get on your database:

jigsaw (bushes)
t d fitchett (lots of stuff)
andrew turner (SU carb bits)
frost restoration (tools, workshop stuff, metal treatment and coatings etc)

what model is your dolo?
where abouts are you based?

good luck with your mission...

Add Chris Witor to the list. He's the UK supplier for SuperFlex bushes.
