Leeds meetings

I've been in contact with Steve W. (Steve1850 on the forum) and we're looking at starting up the bi-monthly meetings again. I need to speak to Steve about something else so I might as well kill 2 birds with the same stone and get the next meeting arranged. If any local members have any input I can put it to Steve and the Area Rep.

The date of each meeting was arranged at the previous one. The reason for this was to avoid a clash with any home fixtures for the local darts league. What I propose is to plan the dates of the next few months' meetings in advance (either 6 or 12 months) rather than just the next one which I'm sure should be possible as the fixtures are arranged at the beginning of each season (like the Premiership and suchlike) and I'll put this forward with any input I get from this thread. Ideally, the meetings should be a regular date (e.g. 1st Wednesday of every other month) but the darts league seems to have put paid to this. I'm in favour of keeping the venue (the Horsforth Club) as it is convenient to the regular attendees. (Steve, David the Area Rep, Keith, Kath & Roger) I know that not everybody uses the forum but if we have say, the next 6 meeting dates arranged in advance it could be published in DM and this might help increase attendances. If any local members have any input please post a reply, PM me or you can find my contact details in DM as I'm the Good Neighbour for West Yorkshire & I'll pass your input along. I know there's quite a few of you out there.

Are we any further on with this? Steve W. did put something in DM and I'll be free to attend the next meeting as I'm a "man of lesiure" these days.
