Well today the weather decided to play ball so out I went to play on the little white tolly

First thing I did was to give her a damm good servicing and flush the cooling system through with dubious quantaties of filth coming out of the hoses.
Eventually running nice and clear I filled with fresh antifreeze and a new thermostat

Then I replaced the missing nuts and bolts that somehow dissapeared on the way to Luton last week.

After this I then degreased the enitre engine bay removing 30 years of crud.

Then a strange thing happened whist adjusting the washer jets.
somehow the pump and the wipers have now stopped working

oh well another job for another day

by the way craig(beerfertoo) what does those 3 relays on the dash do?
and are there any more fuses apart from the obvious 2 on the car??

Glenn

Next job on the cards tidy up of the engine bay including repaint and respray of all the componants

Nope.... car electrics in the simplest form 8) If you're lucky.... there'll be 4 fuses under the cover - The 2 'lying down' are the active/live ones, and there's also a couple of holes to hold 2 spares... which is nice
