In the far past, where Holland used to have a Triumph Dolomite Club (TDCN),
we used to have an informal meeting on a sunday now and then,
just among owners and drivers of the Triumph Dolomite called "Koffieklets".
Because of the 40 year anniversary of the Dolomite in 2011, we will re-introduce this informal meeting.
On SUNDAY July 17th, 2011, a nice date with a reasonable guarantee of good weather,
all Dolomites are invited to join us in Gramsbergen, Overijssel.
Pre gathering in Restaurant de Kroon, Dorpsstraat 26, 7447 CS Hellendoorn, around 10.30PM, (past 52.38912, 6.44856 into google maps)
from where a nice, guided tour (1-1,5 hours) will lead you through the Salland countryside to Gramsbergen.
Gramsbergen has a lot of Dolomite history, we'll have an original TDCN flag hanging out, there will be some Dolomite memorabilia,
and only here, in the east of Holland, you can see the original watercolor painting that used to be on the frontpage
of the historic TDCN clubmagazine in real, and, of course, the Nigel Mansell upright Formula 3 engine is here.
Next to that we have some 9 Dolomites within 3 kilometers distance, in different variations, from demolition to full race specs.
We even could organize a charity auction of some original Dolomite cut-away posters.
Gramsbergen, the place to be….
(past 52.61351, 6.68307 into google maps)
If you want apple pie with whipped cream instead of gingerbread with your AFTERNOON coffee, you will have to pre-register with me on sprint.at.youngtimer.nl, and tell me how many of you will be coming.
Wat jammer! It's a long time since I last visited Holland at the Dutch National at Oss and would really like to meet up with the Dutch group again. Unfortunately, have things planned which make this impossible but if you plan to organise it again next year will definitely look into coming over!
We had a wonderfull and sunny event, much in style with the late "Triumph Dolomite Club Nederland" (which merged into the Club Triumph Holland early nineties):

Groeten
This meeting will definetely be repeated because it was a huge success! If not next year, then surely in 2013, because that year marks the 40-year anniversary of the dolomite in the Netherlands, since february 1973 was the official introduction of the Dolomite here.
