Just giving people as much warning as possible.
This years event is being held in conjunction with the Gwili Steam Railways classic transport weekend.
Camping is available and free.
On the Saturday night there is a licensed bar and and live entertainment. Either live band or comedian.
During the show days there will be vintage busses running between the showground and railway as well as displays of all different types of classic transport.
The event will be held at the United Counties Show ground in Carmarthen on the 21st and 22nd of July 2012. Their will also be a craft and food fair running alongside the transport weekend.
If you want further information just contact me. I am organising for my classic dailies forum to be officially supporting the event. As a result we will have a stand there.
Last year there was only 1 dolomite on the show ground I think we can do better than that dont you?

Re: Classic Dailies Camping weekend 2012.
4 hours thats nothing
I did 9 hours in an 850cc DAF for a club event that wasn't even a full blown show
I took the 1300 to Stoneleigh resto show last year and that was about 4 hours.
Oh and im sure Spunkymonkey would delight in telling you the distances his cars cover

I dont doubt it but personally i like to limit my travel time to about 2 hours unless its for something special. Not making excuses thats just the way I like to do things. But for a decent camping weekend it could be worth the tripPauldaf44 wrote:4 hours thats nothing![]()
