Hi, 1st April there is the last of our out of season monthly meetings. We meet at the Ruddington Heritage Centre, Ruddington, Nottingham. The Heritage Centre is a steam railway preservation centre and we are always free to look around. Cafe will be open for brekies or a sandwhich and cup of summat. The out of season meetings are arranged by Robert Stewarts and he will have a list available of loads of local shows and carnivals which we are usually able to go to without booking. Handy chap to know really. It would be good if one day we could outnumber te Moggie Minors and Ford Pops that turn up. No admission fee, no need to book, just turn up.

The Heritage centre is off Mere Way, Ruddington which is the entrance to Ruddington Country park. Just look for the "Classic Car" signs and follow the arrows. Normal meeting times is between 10:30 and 4:30 pm.
The post code nearest is NG11 6JS.
All makes and models turn up and if your classic is still not on the road, feel free to use a modern car. Tell any coppers/gate staff your are there for the meet and they will let you in.

Cheers Brian - it was good to meet you last week, nice 1500 you've got there - we'll try and drum up some support for a monthly Dolomite meet for Notts/Derby Leics area - see if we can pull a few out of the woodwork...?

Yes. A local meeet would be sound....no good being in a club if you don't meet up.
I have now been told by my "beloved" that I have a family bun fight to attend in the evening and so I will be leaving Ruddington early afternoon to avoid blood shed at home.
